INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
A weekend, a working trip, or somewhere further. The practical details are settled long before anything is confirmed.
Travel asks for more notice than an evening does. A week is comfortable. Less is sometimes possible, though that turns on visas and flights rather than on availability.
Tell us where you are going, the dates, and what the days actually involve. Four quiet days somewhere warm is a different arrangement from four days of dinners and introductions, and it is worth being clear which you have in mind.
Flights and rooms are arranged by you, or by us on your instruction. Separate rooms are ordinary rather than remarkable, and nobody thinks it odd to ask for them. Passports and visas are checked before anything is confirmed. We would far rather tell you a destination is difficult than have it come apart at an airport.
Most journeys run two to five days. Longer is possible. Shorter than two rarely repays the effort of getting anywhere.
We travel through the Gulf regularly, and to Europe through the summer. If your destination is somewhere we have not been, ask anyway — the answer will be an honest one either way.
Membership is extended selectively through existing members, trusted referral or direct invitation. Private applications may be considered, but acceptance is never automatic.
