Yes, and without explanation. Members are considered before they are accepted, and companions choose the evenings they accept; neither is obliged. Every arrangement rests on the consent of the people in it, which may be withdrawn at any point, and on the law of the place it happens in. That is one of the five things the circle does not bend on.
