BESPOKE ARRANGEMENTS
Everything the other five do not cover. Describe what you have in mind and you will be told honestly whether it can be arranged.
Not every occasion is a dinner or a journey. Members ask for a companion at a wedding, someone at a birthday where arriving alone would be remarked upon, a day showing a visitor the city, or an evening with no plan attached to it at all.
Ask. The answer is sometimes no, and it is fairer to give it early than to let you build a weekend around a maybe.
There are things we do not arrange, and it is fairer to name them than to leave it vague. Nothing unlawful. Nothing involving anyone who has not agreed to it themselves. We do not pass on a companion's contact details, and we do not pass on yours.
Within that, most things are possible given notice. Unusual requests need more of it: a week is comfortable, a fortnight better where travel or a third party is involved.
If you are unsure whether what you have in mind is reasonable, send it anyway. We have been asked stranger things.
Membership is extended selectively through existing members, trusted referral or direct invitation. Private applications may be considered, but acceptance is never automatic.
